Water Feature / Front Yard Garden Area

The Wife thought a photo layout of the work site and accompany it with a map / dimensions might prove helpful.

Walkway cinder block wall is 20 inches above the average ground level.  Paving stone curved wall is also 20 inches above the average ground level.

Drawing shows the entire area would form a rectangle 20 feet by 25 feet. I graphed and boxed it into squares and rectangles and came up with 384 square feet as a rough estimate of the total ground space. In the drawing the discussed plan was to raise the level of the dirt by a foot and a half and to taper it to the upper right corner for drainage to a french drain I have over that way.  Roughly in the center the added dirt was to raise up in a mound for the wife's rose bed planter. There are the 5 concret columns to move and the Ice Plant to be moved, I believe she discussed that with you.

Kingdom of the West Crown Tourney and Friends

Broke out the costume gear attended the Crown Tournament for Kingdom of the West. Met a lot of old friends and watched the fighting that I used to do when I was lots younger and more athletic!

Lee Dolm Visit

Our uber computer god type friend Lee came down to Sacramento to Visit. He worked majic as usual with great ease to reformat our network and upgrade to Windows 7, new hard drive in the home server, sorted out several vexing, for us, problems with a few cliks. BBQ and friends over, lots of catching up was done all around. Nice to see so many folks touch base.

Christmas and Kitty Pics Update

A 3d christmas tree! first on that was not a flat wall creation for the last 6 or so years!!  Overall, christmas went well for us this year.

So here's the "i no getz pictures take" Machi the Grey and "I wantz free trip" Nechie and yes, she's voluntarily sound asleep in that little box that had arrived with a miniatures shipment, in fact she spent about 3 hours nap time there.

Yep, that time of year, Christmas party, Tree, Lights, music, lots of people, presents all around, oh and food, did I mention the food?
